In 2016, for the first time in Sing for Water North history, the weather was stereo-typically Mancunian and we got properly wet during our dress rehearsal!
Fortunately, the weather cheered up sufficiently for our performance to go ahead as scheduled. Our very generous audience put over £900 in our collection buckets, our best collection yet! This took our total for the year to over £7,800 or, in other words, clean water for 520 people! Our cumulative total since 2011 rose to over £33,200, enough to provide clean water and sanitation for more than 2210 people FOR LIFE!
330 people registered to take part from across the North West, Wales and as far south as Nottingham! There were more than 40 choirs represented, in addition to a small army of individuals who do not belong to a choir…yet!
