Important updates and timings for 12th June

We’re getting excited now as Sing for Water North 2016 is up and running! As many of you will have seen, our first rehearsal took place in Accrington last weekend when Jules, Janet and Olwyn led a great day of singing.

The first Manchester rehearsal is only 3 weeks away and we can now confirm that both rehearsals in Manchester will be led by Jules, Jacqui and Olwyn. Where else would you get a whole day’s singing, led by 3 of the best teachers around, for £5? And the more people we get at rehearsals, the bigger donation we can make to Water Aid – every penny in excess of venue rental will be donated to Sing for Water North. So if you haven’t registered or booked a rehearsal place yet, do so soon whilst places remain. If you have already registered but changed your mind about attending a rehearsal, please let us know.

We have also finalised the timings for the day itself as follows:

SfWN 2016: 12th June, 2016

Singers arrive in Albert Square from 10.30am
11am-1pm rehearsal in Albert Square
1pm break for lunch
2.30pm gather back in Albert Square with the performance starting around 2.45pm
3.30pm disperse

Please tell all your friends and family and encourage as many people as possible to come and listen to us on the day. The collection buckets will be going round as usual and we raised over £7000 last year – let’s see if we can beat that! Please tell them to arrive for 2.30pm.
